Alassio

In the middle of the so called "baia del Sole", Alassio, since ever one of the most popular beaches of the Ligurian Riviera, offers a long beach of a thin golden sand that thanks to the particular composition of quartz and silicon and of calcareous origin, it is perfect for the games of the little ones.

In August, famous "sandcastle competitions" take place. The long beach runs for 4km until you reach the seaside village of Laigueglia.
The best depths, to enjoy a varied and colorful underwater environment, starts past the harbour, in the area of Punta Murena, here a series of rocks runs parallel to the coast, and a few meters away, you can see fish of various types and molluscs.
