THE TRAIN CAVE

The cave was discovered accidentally in 1870, during the excavation of a railway tunnel.
Guided tours allow, in about an hour and a half, to explore only a portion of the complex and extensive system of tunnels, shafts and halls.
An experienced guide will accompany participants, front lighting helmeted (the cave is artificially illuminated as little as possible to avoid altering the natural environment), in a "journey to the center of the earth", to discover the spectacular manifestations of nature and history of the man, that always shapes the territory in which the lives.

Thanks to these measures, it is now possible to live in security, the magical experience to see the Cave of Bergeggi Train Gallery, as presented itself, in the eyes of the first 800 explorers: a dark and silent world, full of charm and mystery.
