Liguria is the ideal destination for bike lovers from all over Europe. Thanks to the mild climate, you can cycle all over the year.
A lot of very different paths, surrounded by the “Mediterranean macchia” that suddenly open with breathtaking views of the sea and offers to two wheels' fans unique emotions.
Paths for cycling road, mountain bike trails and downhill for daredevils... every Kind of biker will find in Liguria its ideal path.
For road bikers, with the racing bike you can retrace the path of the classic Milano - San Remo and countless climbs such as “capo mele”, “capo Berta” “cipressa” “poggio” that make the Riviera Ligure a paradise for bike lovers.
Close to us, Albenga and its hinterland Valleys and famous climbs and passes, such as "Passo del Ginestro", "Testico", "Paravenna", "Colla Micheri"...are at your hand.
Here, in February, the traditional season of professional racing, opens with the famous "the Laigueglia Trophy."

Not to be missed is the cycling path of Western Liguria, known as " Area 24 - Sanremo", 24 km seaview, along the coastline from San Lorenzo al mare to Ospedaletti, through Sanremo.
Usable in both directions of travel, is a bike path among the longest in Europe.

Perfect for everyone, from chils to aduld, for training, as well as for easy cycling overlooking the seaside.
A unique track borned on the former coastal route of the old railway line, cross areas once unreacheble,
combining part of the path through old train's galleries to seaview ones.

Mountainbike in Liguria

Many are the mtb trails in the Ligurian hinterland, to discover alone or with certified certified guides.

Here are some suggestions:

La Salita del Priore.

From Vignolo, neighborhood of Nasino, twelve kilometers of panoramic dirt road leading to a mountain environment.

Finale Ligure – Le Manie.

Beautiful and challenging tours, for both number of kilometers to do that for technical effort, one of the most beautiful trails in Finale.
Across Finalborgo you go up the Manie and climb down to the sweet path of St. Michael's church, which offers a smooth and fast descent to the ruins of the byzantine church, the last part of descent, brief but intense, offers hairpins steeps, sometimes exposed on an old path.
Famous the “24H of Finale”, one of the most important endurance mountain bike events in the world, able to attract in Finale Ligure, on the Manie plateau, bikers and passionate riders from all over the world.

Colla Micheri

Bike ride for those who do not want to go along several kilometers, or for those who want to test the condition before you leave for more ambitious goals.
About three kilometers, both from Andora that from Laigueglia, lead to this hill: panoramic view of the sea and place of historical interest.
